The hotel’s WooBar is to offer new cocktails and martinis, presented by Diageo Korea’s cocktail specialist JJ in May. The “W Mix Night” event is to be held every Thursday in May from 8-12 p.m. and each drink will be priced at 20,000 won. The menus include Woman’s Energy Tea Caviar, Fresh Lemon Juice Foam Passion Sage, Herb Royal White Sugar Powder and Yogi Mojito Bacardi Superior. Park Hyatt Seoul

The hotel’s restaurant Cornerstone offers a special brunch on Children’s Day to bring the family together to celebrate the Family Month of May. Items on the menu include children’s favorites such as cheeseburgers, French fries, cotton candy, chocolates and more, while the sight of the chefs’ cooking in the four-sided open kitchen will offer children another sensory pleasure. JW Marriott Seoul

The Café, a buffet restaurant, will offer a special buffet for children. There will also be a photo zone for children and a Pierrot-clad staff will blow up a character balloon to give them as a present. Homemade cookies and candies will be given as well. The buffet is priced at 30,000 won for lunch and 32,000 won for dinner.

The Ritz-Carlton, Seoul

European restaurant the Garden celebrates the opening of its outdoor terrace with a Montes Garden party featuring Montes Cherub Rose wine on May 4. Three bartenders who will be creating original wine cocktails for the event are Eom Do-hwan, the winner of World Class 2010, Yoo Jae-gwang, secretary-general of the Korea Bartender Guild and Nam Young-hwan, brand manager and chief beverage innovation manager at France Premium Syrup & Liqueur Company. The resort offers “Saffron Promotion Seoul 2011” at its Granum Dining Lounge from April 26-May 1. The promotion offers 10 kinds of Thai dishes including Goong Tom Yum Hang, Som Tam Nuea Yang, Massaman Nuea Fak Thong and special Thai style cocktail including Monsoon Martini, Mangosteen Martini and Thai Seeds.
