Lee Dong-soo, chief executive of Pfizer Pharmaceuticals Korea Ltd., was elected the 10th chairman of the Korean Research-based Pharmaceutical Industry Association on Jan. 31, the association said.
Sanofi-aventis Korea President Jean-Marie Amaud and Bayer Healthcare CEO Friedrich Gause have been named as vice chairmen of the KRPIA.

Lee graduated from medical school at Seoul National University and served as a director of the department of family medicine at Eulji General Hospital. He joined Pfizer Korea in 1998 and then held various positions including medical department director and marketing executive director. He has been Pfizer Korea CEO since May, 2009.
