An actor who had appeared on a British TV show “Doctor Who” was beaten to death after becoming embroiled in a love triangle.

Gary Suller, 45, who appeared on the TV drama, was killed by Barry Bowyer. The tragic incident happened after 27-year-old Katie Gilmore, who is Bowyer’s girlfriend, accepted Suller's proposal of marriage. 

“They were both in love with the same woman,” said prosecutor Peter Davis.

Bowyer hated Suller because he was afraid of losing his girlfriend, according to court documents.

The prosecutor also said that Bowyer deliberately planned the attack, pointing out that when Suller was found dead, his hands and feet were tied with wire.

According to news reports, Bowyer broke into Suller’s house and waited until he returned home.

Bowyer denies murder but admits to burglary and manslaughter.

범행 후, 베리는 게리의 텔레비전과 자동차를 훔쳐 달아났다고 한다. 

현재 베리는 강도 혐의와 우발적 살인 혐의는 시인하고 있지만 고의적인 살인에 대해선 부인하고 있다.
