The Camarata Music Company will present its summer musical “The Wizard of Oz” starting June 8.
The show is famous for classic songs including “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” “Follow the Yellow Brick Road,” and “Ding Dong the Witch is Dead.” It is suitable for ages 3 and over and will be in English with Korean subtitles.
The shows run on June 8, 15, 22 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., and June 9, 16, 23 at 4 p.m. at Haechi Hall, Seoul Center for Culture and Tourism on the fifth floor of M-plaza in Myeong-dong.
Tickets are 15,000 won in advance, and 25,000 won at the door.
The company’s chamber singers will perform “And All That Choral Jazz” on Thursday at the same venue. The concert features “A Little Jazz Mass” by Bob Chilcott and music by many other composers.
The show starts at 6 p.m. and tickets are 10,000 won.
