Korea’s Kim Ju-hee on Saturday routed Fahpratan Looksaikongdin of Thailand to become the new Women’s International Boxing Council light flyweight champion, making her the holder of five world boxing organizations’ titles.

The 25-year-old won a 3-0 victory over Looksaikongdin, 20, after dominating the bout on Wando, an island off South Korea’s southwest coast.

Kim also holds the titles of the Women’s International Boxing Association, Women’s International Boxing Federation, Global Boxing Union and World Boxing Federation.

“I am so happy to have achieved my goal of becoming champion of the five world organizations,” Kim said.

“I will continue to make the utmost effort in global bouts to help juniors who want to become boxers take exercise in better environment,” she said.

Kim earned titles from the International Female Boxers Association in 2004 and World Boxing Association in 2007 but was stripped of them after missing title defense matches.
