1. 서울시 AI 확산 방지대책 발표

[1] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced Monday a set of  countermeasures to stop a highly pathogenic bird flu strain that is  spreading toward the capital at an unprecedented pace.

[2] The city’s Citizens Health Bureau said it has culled eight  mandarin ducks at Seoul Grand Park in Gwacheon, just outside Seoul  and banned at least 40 zookeepers from leaving the zoo for a week, as  part of its preventive measures.

[3] Authorities sent feces of a total of 1,200 fowl collected inside  the zoo to the National Institute of Environmental Research to check  for the highly pathogenic H5N6 strain of the flu, officials said.

[3] The golden tickets went to Shinsegae DF, Hyundai Department Store  and Lotte Duty Free, after a long and exhaustive fight filled with  flashy plans for drawing in tourists and massive pledges to invest in  the surrounding community. However, the race was not without  controversy -- there were allegations that some companies attempted  to pull strings to win back the license.
