The Canadian Embassy is organizing a Korean delegation to attend the world’s largest mining conference.
The Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada 2011 will take place in Toronto, Ontario from March 6 to 9.
Canada’s mining sector is one of the best developed Canadian industry clusters, offering an extensive science and technology network, broad expertise in geosciences, over 1,200 junior exploration and mining companies, over 2,500 suppliers of equipment and services, and sophisticated financial institutions.
Canada is also a financial center to the global mining industry, with the Toronto Stock Exchange offering investors wide exposure to the world’s mining markets.
Many Korean companies, such as KORES, KEPCO and Samsung C/T, who have sought partnership opportunities for overseas mining development have benefited from attending previous PDAC conferences.
