The ASEAN-Korea Center presents the second series of their Brownbag Seminar every Thursdays.
The seminar will provide an opportunity for the general public to discover diverse aspects of Southeast Asian cultures by inviting prominent researchers and professors as lecturers.
The next lecture on May 12 will examine literature from the Association of Southeast Asia Nations by Chungang University professor Bang Hyun-seok.
This will be followed by a lecture on ASEAN dance with Professor Lee Byung-ok of Yongin University on May 18 and ASEAN Pop Culture with research fellow Choi Kyung-hee of Korean Institute of Southeast Asian Studies on May 26.
The month of June starts off with a lecture on ASEAN Art with the National Museum of Korea’s director Min Byung-hoon on June 2 and on ASEAN Music with professor Chun In-pyong from Chungang University on June 9.
Admission is free and sandwiches will be provided.
Lectures start from noon to 1 p.m. at the ASEAN Hall of the Center in the Press Center Building.
