The Danish Embassy, in association with Korean Wind Energy Industry Association, is arranging a seminar on Danish competencies in the offshore wind energy area on Oct. 20.
Several Danish companies are already present on the Korean wind market.
“But the opportunities are there for more to enter,” said Danish Ambassador Peter Lysholt Hansen.
“The Danish track record in wind power is acclaimed in Korea, and with the Green Alliance that was launched during President Lee’s state visit in May, Danish industry is officially appointed to play a special role in Korea’s green growth strategy,” he added.
This seminar will focus on Danish competencies within the offshore wind power field and will be held at the largest Korean clean tech exhibition, Renewable Energy Korea.
Decision makers and technical representatives from the Korean wind industry will participate in the seminar.
The seminar offers a unique opportunity to informally network with and present solutions to potential customers, both for companies that are new to the Korean wind market as well as for established players.
The Korean industry has been investing heavily in the wind sector in recent year with ambitions aimed at the global marketplace.
