LG Electronics, Korea’s second-largest electronics maker, is to showcase its key air conditioning products at a trade fair in Las Vegas this week.
Its highly efficient and environment-friendly commercial air conditioners will be displayed at a 200 square-meter booth at the AHR Expo, the world’s largest international tradeshow for heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration industries, from Jan. 31-Feb. 2, the company said on Sunday.
They include its flagship “Multi-V” products ― which combine high energy efficiency with easy temperature controls for commercial buildings.

About 45,000 professionals from 120 countries are expected to take part in the annual fair, LG added.
As part of efforts to broaden its share in the North American market, the company has established four commercial air conditioner training academies since 2008. It plans to open another center this year.
Early this year, LG said it seeks $10 billion in global air conditioner sales in 2013. Commercial products account for about 30 percent of its air conditioner sales.
The firm is aiming for 150 percent growth in the U.S. commercial air conditioner market this year.
