The newly renovated Chinese restaurant “Chee Hong” of the Ritz Carlton Seoul
Located in Southern Seoul, the Ritz Carlton Seoul has been considered one of Korea’s finest hotels since its establishment in 1995.
The property, which recently renovated its celebrated Chinese restaurant “Chee Hong” and the fitness club, is only minutes from the headquarters of well-known Korean conglomerates, including POSCO, Samsung and LG, along with some 3,000 global brands.
In December, the hotel celebrated the re-opening of its high-end Chinese restaurant Chee Hong, which was temporarily closed for renovation. The newly decorated restaurant now features both Cantonese and Shanghai cuisine, while combining the two for its supreme fusion meals. Its upgraded menu offers a selection of fine Chinese dishes, including dim sum and shark’s fin soup.
Chee Hong has 12 private rooms, as well as a large hall capable of housing more than 100 guests. The hall is especially ideal for business meetings, family gatherings or milestone events.
The hotel also unveiled its newly renovated fitness club in December, which is famous for the panoramic view it offers through its large windows. The club now offers a bigger training area, as well as a strengthened one-on-one training service for those who would like to improve their workout experience.
The club also now offers private saunas and electronic lockers, as well as a large powder room.
For anyone who is up for a one-of-a-kind, luxurious spa experience, the hotel’s newly opened spa “Possom Prestige” is worth checking out. Specializing in anti-aging, the spa is staffed with dermatologists and expert beauticians. Visitors can have private consultation sessions with its staff on their lifestyle as well as health condition in general. The spa features spring water-based cosmetics and natural tea ingredients developed by a French research center. It is claimed to be the first Asian branch of “Spa THEMAE Paris,” one of the most celebrated spas in France.
The hotel recently opened an extra entrance on its A2 level, where Chee Hong and the spa are located.
Ritz-Carlton’s guest room features in-room movies; European bath essentials; high-speed internet access; fully-stocked refreshment cabinet; twice-daily housekeeping service; 24-hour in-room dining order; and multi-line telephones with voicemail services in English and Japanese.
The property currently houses 375 guest rooms, four restaurants and 10 banquet rooms.
