Hallyu boy band TVXQ will kick off its first world tour, “TVXQ! LIVE WORLD TOUR Catch Me,” at the Gymnastics Stadium in Olympic Park, Seoul, on Nov. 17, its management agency S.M. Entertainment announced on Thursday.
The group’s tour will cover China, Thailand and other countries around the world, the company said.
It will be TVXQ’s first solo concert in Korea since “THE 3rd ASIA TOUR CONCERT Mirotic” held in February 2009, before the group lost its three members Kim Jun-su, Park Yu-chun and Kim Jae-jung.
The duo’s previous live tour, “TVXQ LIVE TOUR 2012 TONE,” held in 11 Japanese cities from January to April 2012, drew a total of 550,000 people.
The boy band will release its album via online music sharing websites including Genie, Melon and Naver Music on Sept. 24. The album will be released in hard copy on Sept. 26.
