An Australian news website announced a list of the worst airlines in the world for economy class, which included North Korea’s state-run airliner Koryo.
According to a list of the “20 Worst Airlines in The World” by Business Insider Australia, Air Koryo provides the fifth-worst economy-class traveling in the world. The website used data ratings and reviews by Skytrax, a leading airline and airport review site.
Receiving a score of 39.2 of 100, the world’s only one-star airliner Koryo offers “revolutionary marching music” and “food that’s described as edible,” according to reviews by Skytrax.
At the rock bottom of the list was Turkmenistan Airlines, which scored 30.8. The airliner received abysmal overall scores on entertainment, service, staff and convenience sectors, making it “the worst airline you can find,” the news site said.
The top five worst airliners for economy class also included Sudan Airways at No. 2 (scoring 33.3), Ukraine International Airlines at No. 3 (36.3), and Uzbekistan Airways at No. 4 (37.5).
