Girls’ Generation collaborates with the Underdogs for new album

South Korean pop group Girls’ Generation has collaborated with famous American music production duo the Underdogs for its upcoming new album, the group’s management agency said Wednesday.

Girls’ Generation is set to unveil “Mr. Mr.” the lead track of its fourth EP album, on major local music services such as Melon and Naver Music at noon next Wednesday, ahead of the official release of the album on Feb. 24.

It will be the first album to be put out by the group in more than a year since “I Got a Boy” in January.

An R&B/pop production duo composed of Harvey Mason Jr. and Damon Thomas, the Underdogs has worked with a number of big-name performers including Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown and Britney Spears. (Yonhap)
