Rain to make world tour stop in Hong Kong

Jan. 28, 2016 - 12:57 By KH디지털2

Actor-singer Rain will make a world tour stop in Hong Kong this weekend, his management agency said Thursday.

R.A.I.N. Company said he will perform before a sold-out crowd in Hong Kong as part of his world tour, titled The Squall, on Saturday.

Rain launched his seventh global tour last November in Changsha, China, and also made stops in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Wuhan and Shenyang.

The company said Rain's Shanghai show was streamed live online across China, and he also took part in Lang Lang & Friends Spring Music Festival on invitation extended by the renowned Chinese pianist.

Rain is later scheduled to take the stage in Japan and also countries in Southeast Asia, North America and South America.

After his Hong Kong show, Rain will turn his focus back to acting. He will star in an SBS TV series "Please Come Back, Mister," which will premiere on Feb. 24.

Rain will play the handsome department store manager, Lee Hae-jun, who died from overwork in his previous life. The show is based on a Japanese novel, Tsubakiyama Kacho no Nanokakan, by Jiro Asada.

Once the show ends on April 14, Rain will be back on tour with four stops in Japan. (Yonhap)
