Big Bang’s 'Loser' MV records 100 million views

Big Bang, an award-winning K-pop boy band, hit 100 million YouTube views with “Loser,” the group’s agency YG Entertainment announced Tuesday.

By Tuesday morning, the music video recorded 100,002,839 views on YouTube. The group became the first K-pop outfit to have four music videos surpassing 100 million views on YouTube. “Fantastic Baby,” “Bang Bang Bang,” and “Good Boy” by its subgroup GD&Taeyang, are the three other music videos with over 100 million views.

“Loser,” the lead song of “M,” the first EP of the “MADE” Series, released in April 2015, topped music charts at home and abroad, the agency said.

The song, a hip-hop track featuring infectious refrains, broke 10 million views within 88 hours of its release.

The group debuted in 2006 with the single “Big Bang,” and has since won 21 awards at various music awards 2015 MelOn Music Awards, Mnet Asian Music Awards, Seoul Music Awards, Golden Disc Awards, and Gaon Chart K-pop Awards.

Meanwhile, the group is set to release the film “BIGBANG MADE” at CGV theaters on June 30, as part of its 10th anniversary celebration.
