Park Hyo-shin to return with new album

Sept. 21, 2016 - 16:07 By Korea Herald
Korean singer-songwriter Park Hyo-shin is gearing up for a return to the spotlight.

Known for his 2014 hit singles “Wild Flower” and “Happy Together,” Park will be announcing a new album next month, according to the artist’s management agency Glove Entertainment on Wednesday. This will be his first full-length album in six years.

Created in collaboration with American mastering engineer Tom Coyne -- who has worked with global pop icons, including Adele and Sam Smith -- the upcoming album is being produced entirely by Park himself.

Some local entertainment agencies have reportedly rescheduled the upcoming release dates of their artists to avoid overlapping with Park’s new album, according to a local media outlet.

The 34-year-old will release his currently untitled album on local music sites on Oct. 3, after which he is scheduled to hold a series of solo concerts titled “I am a Dreamer” at Jamsil Indoor Stadium over two weeks next month.
