Law breaking by policemen drops 30 pct last year

Law violations committed by police officers dived nearly 30 percent in 2011 from a year earlier,police said Sunday.
Reported law breaking by policemen reached 158 cases last year,
compared with 223 cases in 2010, the National Police Agency said.
The agency said the 2011 tally is almost half of the yearly
average of 278 cases posted over the past five years.
Drunk driving accounted for the bulk of the violations at 80,
followed by violence at 30, the agency said. (Yonhap News)
