If you want the traditional bowl of tteok soup on New Year’s Day but don’t know how to make it, Yeoksam Global Village Center offers a chance to learn how ahead of Lunar New Year’s Day. The center will host a Korean cooking class for expats on Jan. 19, where you can learn how to make “tteokguk” (tteok soup) and “pajeon,” a kind of pancake with green onions and seafood.
