Some people might be unlucky enough to wake up to find their car on bricks, but not many find their vehicle made out of bricks.
That happened at Legoland California, where staff organized the perfect prank by replacing their boss’ car with a Lego version, the Daily Mail reported.
On Monday morning, Peter Rochetti, the general manager of Legoland parked his Volvo SUV in his usual spot. Little did he imagine his employees would snatch his car keys around to move his car.
The resemblance of the Lego car to the real vehicle inspired Legoland model shop supervisor, Tim Petsche, to carry out the plan.
After moving Mr. Rochetti’s car down the road, a forklift transported the Lego SUV, which was made up of 201,760 Lego pieces, to the spot.
When he returned to the car to go to lunch, his car was gone. Mr. Rochetti looked dumbfounded at first. Then he started laughing and playing with the Lego car, after seeing his real car parked down the lot, according Park spokeswoman, Beth Chee, who watched the prank.
“We have a very fun, creative team here at Legoland California and it really was the perfect prank,” said Mr. Rochetti.
Chee said this was not the first prank for Legoland employees; they once tricked the entertainment manager by turning his office into an igloo.
