Air Busan celebrates its third anniversary this month, having flown some 55,000 times carrying about 5.6 million passengers. Launching international flights to Fukuoka, Osaka, Hong Kong, Tokyo and other nearby foreign cities, the carrier has been expanding into a “smart, practical” airline. Purchasing two new planes next year, Air Busan plans to expand its flights further into Japan, China and Southeast Asia and increase its number of planes to 12 by 2015. The airline currently has seven aircraft.
