A Korean cardiologist has been listed once again in the 2011-12 edition of a renowned international biographical publication for his work in cardiovascular disease treatment and research.
Chosun University Medical School professor Koh Young-youp, 47, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who in the World since its 2009-2010 edition, as well as by Medicine and Healthcare and in the 2011-2012 edition of Science and Engineering.
The U.S.-based Marquis Who’s contains short biographies of those whose achievements have been widely recognized.

Koh was also included in two other distinguished biographical publications in 2010. He was named one of the Top 100 Health Professionals selected by the International Biographical Center in the U.K. as well as Man of the Year in Medicine and Healthcare by the American Biographical Institute.
Currently working as chief of the cardiology division and director of the cardiovascular center at Chosun University Hospital, Koh has led research in coronary artery intervention and other cardiovascular-related fields.
