Rapper Eun Ji-won divorced his wife last year ending his two-year marriage, according to reports.

The 35-year-old entertainer and his 37-year-old ex-wife came to an amicable agreement in the 2012 divorce over differing personality traits, sources said on Thursday.

The couple drew attention from the public when they got married in 2010 in Hawaii, where Eun and his now ex-wife first met.

“Eun Ji-won and his ex-wife decided to separate few months ago. They have long been talking about the issue and finalized the decision to go their different ways,” a source in the entertainment industry told media.

Eun debuted in 1997 as a rapper in the idol group Sechs Kies and is the grandson of the late President Park Chung-hee’s elder sister, making him a first cousin once removed of President Park Geun-hye.

결혼 당시 은지원은 고교 시절 하와이에서 만났던 첫사랑 이씨와 다시 만나 결혼해 화제가 됐다.

이와 관련해 은지원의 소속사인 GYM엔터테인먼트 측은 28일 “은지원 씨의 사생활이어서 확인해 줄 수 없다”고 밝혔다. (코리아헤럴드)
