Seoul mayor to meet with expats on Dec. 9

Nov. 29, 2011 - 18:02 By Korea Herald
City officials including Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon will attend the annual Seoul Town Meeting on Dec. 9 to consult with expats on life in the capital.

The meeting, which is organized by Seoul Global Center and will be in English and Korean, is a chance for expats in Seoul to discuss ideas and problems they have.

Having consulted the capital’s expats through an online survey, SGC broadened the focus of discussion to general issues regarding life in Seoul, including education, medical services and housing.

The meeting will be held from 4-5:30 p.m. Conference Room, on the 13th floor of City Hall’s Seosomun Annex.

Registration is required for attendance. To book a place, fill out the application form and send it by Dec. 2 to kyuhan09@sba.seoul.kr or by fax to (02) 723-3206.

Park’s inaugural speech from earlier this month is available in English, Chinese and Japanese at www.seoul.go.kr.
