Seoul Metropolitan Government is recruiting foreign volunteers who will work to improve foreign residents’ daily lives in Seoul.
Forty-five volunteers will monitor and report any inconveniences experienced by foreign residents and suggest policies to improve things. Applicants will work from March to December 2012 and will be entitled to some payment for their activities.
Foreign nationals or naturalized Korean citizens who have lived in Seoul for at least one year can apply. They should have intermediate-level command of English or Korean.
Those who are interested should submit an application form and a copy of their alien registration card by post, by e-mail or in person by Friday. Successful candidates will be announced on Feb. 15 and invited to an orientation late February.
