러시아에서 교통 사고를 겪고 살아남은 젊은 남녀가, 자신들이 낸 사고로 인해 사망한 시신들이 놓여있는 자리에서 술을 마시고 춤을 추는 어처구니 없는 사건이 발생했다.

니주니노브고로드주(州)에서 일어난 이 교통사고는 네명이 타고 있던 승용차 한대가 주차해있던 지프차를 들이받아 전복시키면서 발생했다고 경찰은 밝혔다. 이 사고로 지프 차에 타고 있던 부부는 사망했다.

그러나 사고를 낸 승용차 운전자와 동승자들은 이 사고가 자신들의 탓이 아니라며 발뺌을 했다.

더욱 기가 막힌 것은 사고가 일어난 직후 이들의 태도. 아무런 상처 없이 차에서 빠져나온 이들은 경찰이 사망한 부부의 시신을 지프차에서 옮기는 사이 ‘살아남은 것’을 축하하며 술을 마셨다고 한다. 현지 언론보도에 따르면 이들은 사고를 내기 전부터 운전자를 포함해 모두 만취상태였다고 한다.

심지어 이들 중 한 젊은 여성은 사고 현장을 취재하러 온 방송국 보도진 앞에서 춤을 추며 “뭘 해드릴까요? 어떻게 포즈를 취할까요? 다음엔 무엇을 할까요? 진짜 흥미 있나요?”라고 물었다고 한다. 이는 비극적으로 사망한 부부의 시신 바로 옆에서 일어난 행위였다.

인터넷을 통해 이 장면을 본 수많은 러시아인들은 “술 취한 멍청이처럼 춤추는 무신경함에 충격을 받았다”, “구역질 난다” 며 비난을 퍼부었다. (코리아헤럴드)

Shameful car passenger dances next to dead bodies



Footage of a drunken woman dancing and posing near dead bodies at the scene of a high-speed car crash in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia was aired on national television there.

The young woman, whose name was withheld, was a passenger in the speeding Subaru that struck a parked Niva jeep, causing the Niva to roll onto its roof. The impact killed the Niva’s driver and his wife.  

Even though police spokesperson Igor Mikhailushkin confirmed that “the Subaru car hit the Niva jeep which then overturned,” the driver of the Subaru, also apparently drunk, repeatedly swore and blamed the crash on the other car.

The driver and the three passengers in the Subaru were left unscathed and to celebrate their survival, took swigs of beer at the site while the police pulled the dead couple out of the smashed Niva.

Obviously drunk, the woman danced for the television crews as she said, “What can I do for you? How shall I pose? Shall I stand like this? Or maybe like this? What shall I do next? Are you really interested?” The footage revealed that she was just steps away from the covered bodies.

The TV correspondent, Artem Filippov, said, “The policemen are doing their best to be polite but they are obviously full of anger and dream about teaching this drunk ... a good lesson.”
