FIVE STARS FOR SAFETY -- Toyota’s fourth-generation Prius got a five-star rating on safety tests for the European New Car Assessment Program. It scored five stars in all areas, which include adult passenger protection, children passenger protection, pedestrian protection and safety assistance. The hybrid electric mid-size hatchback was also awarded “Top Safety Pick+” by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety in March.
