Applications for the Test of Proficiency in Korean are open until Aug. 20.
The exam takes place on Dec. 11 and covers listening, reading, grammar and writing.
The test is available in three grades. Beginner (levels 1 and 2) and advanced (levels 5 and 6) exams take place at 9 a.m. The intermediate exam for levels 3 and 4 starts at 2 p.m.
Tests cost 40,000 won and last 3 hours in total, with two sections, one for vocabulary, grammar and writing and one for listening and reading. There is no restriction on taking the intermediate test as well as the beginner or advanced level test.
