Yeouido Global Business Center will host a seminar Friday in obtaining a business loan in Korea.
The seminar will be led by an agent from the state-run Small Enterprise Development Agency. It will cover the types of loans available, the processes involved in applying for and getting a loan, as well as case studies of applications and business plans.
The seminar runs 4-6 p.m. at the Rebus Business Center in the Kyobo Securities Building in Yeouido. Space is limited to 40 people and reservations should be made by Thursday via global.seoul.go.kr/yeouido
The Seoul Global Center is also taking applications for its Business Start-up School until Nov. 2.
The free two-week evening course is aimed at expats looking to set up a small business in Korea.
The course runs weekdays from Nov. 19-30, with classes from 7-9 p.m.
Those who complete the course will get preferential treatment when applying for the center’s incubation offices in COEX and Yeouido.
Applicants should submit a business plan with their application. A downloadable application form is available at global.seoul.go.kr.
