Tiger Woods wants to remarry his ex-wife Elin Nordegren, reports said.
The 37-year-old golfer is desperate to win her back and has offered her a hefty deal, FOX Sports reported on its website on Wednesday, quoting the National Enquirer.
The National Enquirer, an American weekly tabloid, was the first to allege that he was having an extramarital affair in November 2009.
The magazine claims that Tiger proposed to Elin over Christmas, getting down on one knee with a ring.
Nordegren, 33, is reportedly considering his offer, but wants a $350 million anti-cheating clause in any new marriage. Wood’s proposed deal is thought to be worth over half of his estimated $600 million fortune.
Woods and Nordegren met in 2001 after being introduced by Swedish golfer Jesper Parnevik, for whom Elin was a nanny. The couple was engaged in November 2003 and married in October 2004.
They have two children. Their marriage went awry after Nordegren discovered in November 2009 that Woods had been cheating on her with multiple mistresses. They divorced in August 2010.
Since their divorce, Nordegren has dated financier Jamie Dingman and reportedly NHL player Douglas Murray.
Nordegren is also spending a lot of money on rebuilding a North Palm Beach estate in Florida.
