The Visit Korea Committee is offering a special promotion this month for foreign travelers using the K-Travel Bus.
The promotion is part of the Korea Grand Sale, a month-long shopping and tourism festival taking place in Seoul and major cities around the country from Feb. 1 to Feb. 29. During the festival, tourists from overseas can take advantage of large discounts in shopping, food, entertainment, Korean cultural experiences, transportation and accommodations.

The K-Travel Bus “1+1” promotion offers a free ticket for a companion taking the tour bus with a paying foreign tourist, with an additional 50 percent discount for the North Gyeongsang Province route. The K-Travel Bus is a weekly overnight bus tour program that takes tourists from Seoul to one of three destinations: the Chungcheong area, South Jeolla Province, and North Gyeongsang Province.
Although the bus is ordinarily reserved for non-Korean travelers, tickets will also be available for Korean companions during the promotion period.
In February, buses will leave Seoul each Saturday, on Feb. 13, 20 and 27. Tickets are $170-$180, before any discounts.
Reservations can be made at
www.k-travelbus.com by foreign passport holders. For more information, call (02) 1600-7882.
