A 55-year-old farmer from Bardanga village in Nepal was bitten by a venomous snake. Most people would rush to the hospital, but Mohamed Salmo Miya ran after his attacker and got revenge before rushing to get medical treatment, according to news source.

“I was very angry after the snake bit into me. Then I followed the snake, grabbed it and bit it to death,” Miya stated. “I could have killed it with a stick but I was mad with anger and wanted to take revenge. I killed it with my teeth.”

Miya has received treatment of his venom-filled wound at his local clinic and is recovering at home.

한 네팔인 농부가 자신을 공격한 독사를 직접 물어 죽여 화제다.

언론 보도에 따르면 네팔 바르당 마을에 사는 55세의 농부 모하메드 살모 미야는 독사에 물린 직후 병원으로 가는 대신 그 뱀을 쫓아 자신의 이로 직접 복수했다고 한다.

미야는 인터뷰에서 “(뱀에게 물린 후)나는 몹시 화가 났고, 뱀을 쫓아가 붙잡은 뒤 죽도로 물어뜯었다”고 말했다. 또 그는 “물론 막대기로 쳐서 죽일 수도 있었지만 당시 나는 몹시 화가 나 잠시 이성을 잃었었고, 복수를 하고 싶은 마음에 이로 물어 죽였다”고 덧붙였다.
