A Utah man says he saw Bigfoot while camping in Provo Canyon.

The man, whose real name has not been reported, posted a video to YouTube of what he says he believes may be Bigfoot, KSTU-TV, Salt Lake City, reported Saturday.

The man said he and a friend were hiking near Squaw Peak and Little Rock Canyon Overlook when they spotted what they believed to be a bear.

But when “the monster stood up and looked right at us,” they fled.

“We had actually been standing there for awhile. We had thought it was a bear up to that point but when it stood up and looked at us it was just massive animal,” said the video‘s uploader.

“We don’t know what it was. I mean none of us really believe in Bigfoot but we‘ve talked about it over and over again since then. It happened on Monday and all of us are positive that thing wasn’t a bear,” the uploader said. (UPI)

정체모를 괴물 빅풋 영상 공개돼


미국 유타 주의 한 남자가 프로보캐니언(Provo Canyon)에서 등산을 하던 중 전설의 괴물인 빅풋(Bigfoot)을 보았다고 밝혔다.

실명을 공개하지 않은 남자는 유투브에 빅풋으로 추정되는 괴물이 찍힌 동영상을 올렸다고 솔트레이크시티(Salt Lake City) 지역 언론인 KSTU-TV가 지난 토요일 보도했다.

남자는 친구 한 명과 스콰우 봉우리(Squaw Peak)를 오르던 중이었으며 그들이 빅풋을 발견한 지점은 리틀락캐니언오버룩(Little Rock Canyon Overlook) 부근이었다. 그러나 괴물이 일어나서 자신들을 똑바로 쳐다보자 도망쳤다고 밝혔다.

"사실 그 부근에 잠시 서 있었어요. 그 동물이 일어서기 전까지는 그게 곰인 줄 알았는데 갑자기 일어서더니 우리를 보더라구요. 그때 보니 곰이 아니었어요. 그냥 어떤 거대한 동물이었죠."라고 남자는 비디오에서 말한다.

"그게 뭔지는 몰라요. 뭐, 우리가 빅풋의 존재를 믿는 건 아니지만, 그 순간 이후로 친구와 계속 이야기를 나눠봤는데 그게 곰은 아니었다는 쪽으로 결론을 냈어요."라고 밝혔다. (코리아헤럴드)
