Job Fair for Foreign-Invested Companies 2014(JTI Korea)
Global tobacco company JTI Korea will participate in the Job Fair for Foreign-Invested Companies 2015 to offer job opportunities to talented job seekers.
Hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, the job fair for foreign-invested companies is held at Coex’s B1 Hall in Samseong-dong, Seoul, from Oct. 15-16.
JTI Korea is one of the 100 foreign-invested companies to participate in the job fair. The Korean operation of Geneva-based JTI is the manufacturer of Mevius and Camel.
“Job seekers are free to visit the JTI booth for information and counseling – Talented job seekers will be hired through an interview on the spot,” a JTI Korea official said.
At the Job Fair, JTI Korea plans to hire JUMP Management Trainees and winter STEP (Step Toward Enterprising Professional) interns for each department. JUMP Management Trainees will be given an opportunity to sharpen their global competitiveness through assignments to three Asian countries including Korea for eight months in each country. After hands-on work experience, they will be groomed to be core managers of JTI Korea.
“Since 2011, we have participated in various job fairs and workshops held in Korea to secure a talented workforce and raise public awareness of the company,” said Kim Jong-bok, managing director of JTI Korea’s human resources department.
“We will also capitalize on this job fair to recruit candidates with great potential and provide them with an opportunity to grow to become a global talent.”
