[Tokyo Olympics] S. Korea's 1st Olympic modern pentathlete 'proud' of the country's breakthrough medal
TOKYO -- It was nearly six decades ago in Tokyo that Choi Kui-sung became the first South Korean modern pentathlete to participate in the Olympic Games. Now in 2021, the country finally has an Olympic medalist in the sport, as Jun Woong-tae captured the historic bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics on Saturday.
