The national medicines regulator has approved the Moderna COVID vaccine as boosters for adults in Australia. The final hurdle is to get the clearance from the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI). Testing is currently underway on the vaccines effectiveness against the Omicron variant.
