The 2018 S/S HERA Seoul Fashion Week successfully wrapped up the weeklong shows at Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Saturday.
A total of 184 brands participated this year, showing off 75 spring and summer collections.
The events kicked off on Oct. 16 with the opening of the exhibition ‘Endless journey’ of Rubina, which encapsulates the honorary designer’s 37 years of career.

Fashion show began from Oct. 17, introducing the latest inspirations of the nation’s top 35 designer brands and six fashion companies. A slew of Korean celebrities graced the events, some performing on the red carpets and catwalking alongside models.
The Generation Next section of the week, carried out in the underground parking lot area of the DDP, showcased works by 101 emerging designers, accompanied by trade shows and a mentoring seminar on gender fluid fashion.

People working in the field of fashion visited the DDP during Fashion Week from all over the globe including Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand and Switzerland.
The HERA Seoul Fashion Week is held twice every year at DDP. It is hosted by Seoul Design Foundation with sponsorship from Korean beauty brand HERA.
