Organica, a Korean premium organic whole food company, has won this year’s International Forum Design Award for the packaging section, the company said Tuesday.

A panel of 53 experts chose Organica’s packaging of rice and mixed grain lineup, “Season to Season,” which was co-designed by Herald Design Core and advertising firm Big Ant International.

“Our competitiveness in design has been recognized through this meaningful award. This will serve as an opportunity for us to continue to differentiate our products and brand image,” an Organica official said in a statement Tuesday.

Season to Season is an organic, natural food brand launched by Organica in June. The whole food provider sells various eco-friendly products, including chewy sweet potato, quinoa, chia seeds and detox juice.

The officials said Organica’s brand logo shows the harvesting process of grain and its minimal and natural brand identity.

iF Design Award is one of three global design awards along with Red Dot Award and International Design Excellence Awards. Every year a panel of judges evaluates brands in five different categories ― products, packaging, communication, interior architecture and professional concepts.

This year’s awards ceremony will be held in Munich, Germany on Feb. 28.
