The five members of popular K-pop idol band FT Island are taking a stab at composition with the release of their fourteenth Japanese EP, according to an announcement by FNC Entertainment.
The upcoming digital EP titled “To the Light” is slated to be released on Oct. 15 and is said to have been entirely written and composed by the members of FT Island. The album’s eponymous lead track was written and composed by bassist Lee Jae-jin, with help from Lee Hong-ki, the press release stated.
The EP will also include the tracks “Fish,” which was composed by group leader Choi Jong-hoon and written by Jae-jin, as well as the single “Tornado,” which was also written and composed by Jae-jin.
FT Island is expected to release four different versions of its upcoming “To the Light” EP, including one that is to be released only to members of the group’s official fan club “Primadonna.”
After the release of their album in October, the members are planning to hold their “FT Island Autumn Tour 2014 ― To the Light” tour in Japan from Oct. 16 to Nov. 24.
