비즈니스 인사이더에 따르면 ‘팔코올 (Palcohol)’이라는 새로운 알코올이 개발되었다고 한다. ‘팔코올’은 알코올의 가루 버전이며 곧 시장에서 만날 수 있다고 전해진다.
‘팔코올’로 나만의 칵테일을 만드는 것은 어렵지 않다. 가루와 물만 섞으면 순식간에 칵테일이 완성된다.
합법적으로 술을 마실 수 있는 나이이면 누구나 구입이 가능하다. 하지만 ‘팔코올’의 본래 타겟은 스포츠 행사와 콘서트 관람객이었다. 그런 곳들은 대부분 술을 값비싸게 판매하는데 ‘팔코올’ 하나면 알코올을 저렴하게, 편하게 그리고 빨리 섭취할 수 있을 것이다.
너무 좋아서 믿어지지 않을 수 있지만 ‘팔코올’은 이미 허가를 받았고 Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB)에서도 7 종류 (알 (R), 브이(V), 코스모폴리탄( Cosmopolitan), 모히또 (Mojito), 파우더리타 (Powderita). 레몬드랍 (Lemon Drop) 등)에 긍정적인 반응을 보였다.

Powdered alcohol to roll out in market
“Palcohol,” the powdered version of alcohol, will be available on the market soon, according to Business Insider.
Powdered alcohol does not need anything special except some water. Just mix it and an instant cocktail is ready in just a few seconds, the report said.
This version of alcohol is for everyone of legal drinking age but was especially targeted to sporting events and concert audiences. These places often sell alcohol at a high price, but with Palcohol people can enjoy their liquor not only cheaply but conveniently and fast as well.
The product has already gained approval from relevant authorities. Business Insider said the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau has also given positive opinions to seven kinds of Palcohol -- including R, V, Cosmopolitan, Mojito, Powderita and Lemon Drop.
