Park Hye-kyung
IBM Korea named Park Hye-kyung as the chief of the System z Business unit, which is in charge of developing mainframe computers for corporations.
Park, who formerly served as an executive of IBM’s PureSystems, is expected to coordinate projects among IBM Korea’s different business units.
Having started her career as a data modeling consultant for insurance businesses, Park has rich experience in a wide variety of sectors such as software sales, financial services, and sales strategy planning, according to the company.
Park majored in computer engineering and statistics at Seoul National University.
IBM Korea also promoted Kim Yeon-joo, a former global process service client solution leader, to the chief of the entire GPS unit.
Kim previously served as quality control and risk management manager, and a solution architect.
