In April, the ad company released “Shackleton’s Return,” which was inspired by the Antarctic explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton who saved the crew of the Endurance during his failed South Pole expedition 100 years ago. The global campaign tells the story of Shackleton’s great-grandson Patrick Bergel taking a 5,800-kilometer trip and crossing the Antarctic on Hyundai’s SUV Santa Fe to complete his great-grandfather’s unfinished mission.

The campaign won two silver and four bronze awards in five categories including film and film craft, which assessed visual quality, the company said. It also won silver in the digital category for displaying state-of-the-art visual technology and fresh content.

It has garnered 100 million YouTube views globally in six weeks, added the company.
