[Announcement] Regular ticket sales open for Herald Design Forum 2016

Oct. 11, 2016 - 17:11 By Korea Herald
“To achieve great design, you need great business thinking/doing -- to effectively invest in design -- and you need great engineering -- to achieve unflagging performance.”

This is how US designer and technologist John Maeda, who served as a professor at the MIT Media Lab and as president of the Rhode Island School of Design, defined “great design.”

Design is no longer a decoration for products. Design has expanded upon its primary role and created collaborations with technology, leading in turn to the emergence of new industries.

Herald Design Forum kicks off its sixth edition in November in Seoul with key terms being “design,” “business” and “technology convergence.”

Leading designers around the world are coming to the forum to talk about their remarkable creations in various fields such as information technology, architecture, industry and automobiles. Discover the future of design at Herald Design Forum on Nov. 8.
