    Hanwha Techwin (012450) announced on July 27 that Thales International SAS has exercised a put option for a 50 percent stake in Hanwha Thales. The transaction is a part of the stock transfer agreement Hanwha signed when it acquired the defense unit from Samsung last year. The French defense giant’s stake is estimated to be worth 288 billion won (US$253.95 million) .

[DISCLOSURE] Hanwha Techwin (012450) announced on July 27 that Thales International SAS has exercised a put option for a 50 percent stake in Hanwha Thales. 

The transaction is a part of the stock transfer agreement Hanwha signed when it acquired the defense unit from Samsung last year. 

The French defense giant’s stake is estimated to be worth 288 billion won (US$253.95 million) .
