June 1, 2016 - 17:34 By Rumy Doo
At the end of June, Big Bang will release a movie tracing the world tour concerts the group held last year, YG Entertainment said Wednesday.

The film, titled “Big Bang MADE,” will open June 30 exclusively at CGV theaters in Korea. The group’s agency YG released a poster for the film on its official blog and social media outlets Wednesday.

“Big Bang MADE” recounts the group’s 66 concerts held across 32 cities throughout 13 countries in North and South America, Australia and Asia from last April to March this year. It also offers behind-the-scenes looks at their backstage and rehearsals.

“The film shows Big Bang members as both professionals on stage and in their natural state offstage as 20-something youths,” the press statement read.

“The film shows unfabricated shots of the group’s members without makeup and joking around with each other. It will give us a peek at a new side of Big Bang that (fans) did not know for the past 10 years,” it added.

The movie will be also be shown with Screen X technology, an immersive feature developed by CJ CGV that projects footage on three screens branching out to the theater’s walls.

The movie is the first in a series of “special projects” that Big Bang will be launching in celebration of the globally popular K-pop group’s 10th anniversary, according to YG.
