KBS rolls out ‘Descendants of the Sun’ cookies

Korean Broadcasting System, a major TV channel that airs hit drama “Descendants of the Sun,” has released gift sets of handmade cookies named after the show. The station will receive preorders for the products through Korea’s online shopping sites including Gmarket, Auction, 11ST and Interpark. Cookies will be shipped out starting April 14 and orders can also be made from outside the country. There are five kinds of cookie sets, including sugar-coated and pebble-like cookies.

Yamaha releases latest sound projector

Yamaha Korea has released its latest sound projector, the YSP-5600, designed to offer 3-D surround sound equivalent to 7.1.2 channels. Equipped with MusicCast system, a revolutionary element of a network audio, the sound projector provides a variety of audio content using an exclusive app, the company said in a statement.

Crocs releases new ankle strap sandals

Crocs has released a new line of ankle strap sandals, Leigh II Ankle Strap Graphic Wedge, with a feminine and contemporary design for the upcoming summer. Featuring soft, synthetic leather ankle straps and footbeds made of croslite material, the sandals have a comfortable fit and come in vivid colors. Burberry launches new fragrance for men

Burberry has released Mr. Burberry, a new fragrance for men inspired by its iconic black trench coat, the company said in a press release. Created by Christopher Bailey, its chief creative and CEO, in collaboration with perfumer Francis Kurkdijian, the fragrance fuses classic scents of British perfumery with unexpected ingredients such as crisp zesty grapefruit and smoky guaiac wood. Mr. Burberry is offered in 30ml, 50ml, 100ml and 150ml bottles, with a special initial engraving service provided for the 100ml bottle. Lafuma releases new ‘hybrid’ jacket

Lafuma, a French outdoor brand produced by LG Fashion, has released a new hybrid jacket named “Fresh Smart” that protects wearers from wind and water. The hooded jacket is made of light and breathable materials. It can also be worn as everyday apparel, the company said, calling it a perfect item for both indoor and outdoor activities.

Pulmuone releases new set of packaged side dishes, soup

Pulmuone has released Chanmaru, a new set of packaged Korean side dishes, soup and stew as an alternative to home-cooked meals.

From marinated sesame leaves with perilla seed oil to fried anchovies with nuts, the new products are made with healthy ingredients and less sodium, approximately 20 percent less than other products, the company said.
