Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, head of the conservative Liberal Democratic Party, on Wednesday reshuffled his 20-month old cabinet.
He kept key ministers including finance, foreign and economy ministers, while appointing five women, a record-high matching the number in Junichiro Koizumi's first cabinet launched in 2001.
