YG reveals new member of girl group

YG Entertainment posted a new video unveiling the fifth member of its upcoming girl group through their official blog on Friday.

The one minute and 30 second video featured the 16-year-old trainee’s powerful dance moves along with other girls in a studio.

At the end of the footage, a profile showed a photo of her face but listed her name and nationality as 'Unknown.'

On May 4, YG posted a photo of the new member under a title of “Who’s that girl?” and a month ago they also uploaded a video of other members, Kim Eun-bi and Euna Kim, singing Sam Sparrow’s “Black and Gold.” The clip reached more than a million hit on Youtube.

The two first appeared on an audition program “Super Star K” and were picked up by YG as trainees.

The new girl group is reportedly to debut this September but the agency hasn’t confirmed official date.

미스테리걸은 YG가 새롭게 선보이는 걸그룹 멤버들을 지칭하는 말로, 앞서 김은비와 유나킴, 김제니, 그리고 아무런 정보 없이 사진만 공개된 또 다른 미스테리걸이 공개돼 화제를 모은 바 있다. (헤럴드 생생뉴스)
