Christmas Day party at Ulsan orphanage

Nov. 30, 2011 - 21:08 By Korea Herald
An expat volunteer group is seeking 100 volunteers to hold a Christmas party at a Korean orphanage on Dec. 25. The T-hope Korea group will make its regular visit to the orphanage that Sunday, but will plan extra treats for the kids living there. Volunteers will teach the center’s kids Christmas songs and Santa will visit to hand out gifts from 1:30-5:30 p.m.

The group will also hold a soul-themed fund-raising party on Dec. 16 at The Royal Anchor bar in Ulsan to gather cash and gifts for the orphans.

Those attending the party from 9:30 p.m. are asked to bring an unwrapped new toy or 2,000 won to get in. Attendees will also be given a raffle ticket to win a 50,000 won bar tab or other drinks prizes donated by the bar.

More details can be found on the T-hope Korea Facebook page.
