The Korea Tourism Organization said its delegation visited Russia’s Irkutsk and Moscow from Oct. 10 to Oct. 14 to attract 10,000 Russian tourists to Korea this year for medical tourism. A promotion seminar was held in a business center in Irkutsk in which 36 medical industry officials from 10 Korean hospitals, travel agents and medical tourism coordinators participated. Irkutsk has been a target city for Korean medical tourism since Korean Air opened direct routes to the city in June.
